The Balancing Act: Joey Healey

We are thrilled to announce The Balancing Act, the debut solo exhibition of emerging New York-based artist Joey Healey. A graduate of Brown University’s Class of 2024, Healey draws significant inspiration from his hometown, New York City.

Healey’s layered paintings explore time, memory, and transformation through abstraction, symbolism, and material experimentation. Drawing from graffiti, poetry, Abstract Expressionism, European Modernism, and ancient visual languages, his works create a personal dictionary that reflects the emotional and psychological complexity of contemporary life.
